Bridgetown, Barbados Cruise Port - Flower Forest & Sunbury Plantation Cruise Excursion! 🇧🇧

Welcome to our Bridgetown, Barbados Cruise Port vlog! 🇧🇧 In this video we're taking you on a thrilling cruise excursion to the beautiful Flower Forest and historic Sunbury Plantation. If you're planning a cruise stop in Bridgetown, this vlog is your perfect guide to exploring the stunning island of Barbados! We stopped at Bridgetown cruise port on our MSC Seaview cruise. We were excited about our first visit to Barbados and had hoped to spot Rihanna around Bridgetown, though it wasn't to be! We did see where she lived though and they've even renamed the street to Rihanna Drive. Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados and one of the biggest cities in the West Indies, home to sights like the Kensington Oval and National Heroes Square. We decided to go beyond Bridgetown to see more of Barbados. Our cruise excursion first took us to the Flower Forest, a stunning botanical garden that beautifully showcases the island's biodiversity. We then visited St John's Parish Church, the oldest church in Barbados. We finished off our excursion with a visit to Sunbury Plantation House, one of the best-maintained plantation homes in the Caribbean where we enjoyed learning about the history of Barbados and some of its Irish connections. If you're planning to stay around Bridgetown cruise port, it's just a short walk to the centre of the city. There are great restaurants and shops, lots of historic sights, not to mention the beautiful beaches. We fell in love with Barbados and enjoyed our cruise excursion to the Flower Forest and Sunbury Plantation.
