Wow, San Francisco - it's one of my favourite city's in the world. People think of San Fran as being expensive because of its proximity to Silicon Valley, but I was actually surprised by how affordable it is when it comes to hotels. If you're travelling on a budget, which most of us are in this current cost of living crisis, then I've found 4 of the top, best cheap, affordable bargain hotels you can stay in for around £150 or $150 a night, to save you money. Hotels featured in this video include: 1. Queen Anne Hotel - this is in the Pacific Heights district just a few blocks from Japan Town. Breakfast is included as is an afternoon tea of sherry and cookies. It's just fabulous. 2. Hotel Garrett - this is the CHEAPEST hotel of the 4. It's further out than the others but still central - only a ten minute walk from Union Square and near San Francisco's historic cable cars too and other cheap public transport 3. Citizen M - this is a funky, colourful, playful central hotel near Union Square. It has an AMAZING roof terrace as well as a gym. 4. Cartwright Hotel - this is a Best Western Hotel and is one of the cheapest good options. It's also central and overlooks Union Square.
