Another busy afternoon Saturday 29th June 2019 for Southampton when five cruise ships all departed from cruise terminals for their next cruise. The ships were the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines 'Braemar', Royal Caribbean 'Independence of The Seas', Princess Cruises 'Sapphire Princess', P&O Cruise Ships 'Azura' and 'Britannia'. First to depart from 102 berth was the 'Braemar' with the tug Buffalo assisting her at 16:33pm upto the upper swinging ground and the 'Braemar' is away for a 10 Night Cruise to Germany and Denmark and her first call is to the Kiel Canal in Germany. The 'Independence of The Seas' departed from the City Cruise Terminal at 16:45pm for a 14 Night Canaries Cruise and her first port call is to Vigo in Spain. Princess Cruises 'Sapphire Princess' departed from the QEII Cruise Terminal at 17:19pm for a 7 Night Cruise to Scandinavia and her first port call is to Zeebrugge in Belgium. The P&O Cruises 'Azura' soon departed from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 17:25pm for a 14 Night Mediterranean Cruise and her first port call is to Cadiz in Spain, as she was passing town quay she and 'Britannia' both exchanged horns. Finally the P&O Cruises 'Britannia' departed from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at 18:10pm for a 7 Night Cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and her first port call is to Stavanger in Norway.
