Come along with my twin sister Melissa and me for our first sea day aboard Caribbean Princess—and our very first full day on a Princess cruise. We begin with breakfast from the International Café before briefly meeting the cruise director and captain in the Piazza. From there, we attend an event especially for guests who are new to Princess Cruises. I almost skipped this event, but I am so glad we attended. Along with meeting members of the ship’s leadership team and participating in some lighthearted games, new Princess cruisers had opportunities to win some surprisingly valuable prizes. The rest of our sea day includes a walk around the outside promenade and upper decks, lunch in the Palm Dining Room, specialty ice cream sundaes from Coffee & Cones, and a relaxing afternoon in Skywalkers Lounge overlooking the ocean and splash pad below. That evening, we experience the traditional Princess champagne waterfall in the Piazza, attend a production show in the Princess Theater, and finish the day exploring the ship’s lounges and upper decks.
