Carnival Cruise Platinum members trying our first Royal Cruise!!! We tried to do a similar itinerary twice but Hurricane Maria and the Covid cancelled them both and Carnival doesn't do this itinerary anymore. Third day, third stop! Up early as we had to be the first off the boat. We had a rental car waiting and a long drive from Frederiksted to Christiansted to go on a tour with Caribbean Sea Adventures! Another day on the wrong side of the road but we didn't make mistakes. Got there and they had free parking at Fort Christiansvaern. We had a rain shower early and a little in the middle so the videos weren't awesome, but it was a top notch excursion. Jess and Nina saw a shark and a sea turtle at Buck Island but I didn't see those. We finished and got rum punch on the way back and visited the fort quick. Had extra time so we were looking for a beach and went to Rainbow Beach. So nice and secluded!!! A couple hours spent there then back to the boat. Saw sea turtles from the pier both ways. Then a little fun back on board, dinner, board games and ship tour!!! All video done by iphone or GoPro.
