About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Earlier this year, I sailed on Carnival Conquest for an amazing 14-day Journeys cruise. The Conquest is one of Carnival's oldest ships in operation and I was curious: How will a ship from 2002 compete with all of the new megaships we've been on over the past year? In this video, I share my complete thoughts on what I Loved, what I Didn't Love, and what I Hated about the Carnival Conquest. Because the ship typically sails 3- and 4-day cruises, most cruisers don't have the time to explore the cruise ship. In this video, I talk about it all - from top to bottom - and provide cruise tips throughout to make sure you are able to make the most of your time on board! I also call out where something was unique to the Journey's sailing to make sure there's no confusion between my cruise and the 3- and 4-day sailings. The Carnival Conquest launched in 2002 and is the namesake of Carnival's Conquest-class of ships. She's the 3rd oldest operating vessel in Carnival's fleet and was built before the rise of branded venues, water parks, and IMAX theaters. She has much of the classic Joe Farcus design still in tact, which we absolutely love. However, she has plenty of modern updates, too! Conquest was one of the first of Carnival's ships to receive Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements giving her all of the Carnival favorites you've come to know and love. In 2012, she received Blue Iguana Cantina, Guy's Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar, Blue Iguana Tequila Bar, Punchliner Comedy Club, Playlist Productions shows, along with the now defunct Hasbro the Game Show entertainment options. As always, thank you for watching and supporting the channel. If you have any questions, drop them in the comments below and we'll be sure to respond. Whether you're sailing on namesake Carnival Conquest, or any of the Conquest-class sisters, enjoy classic cruising! -Mark #cruise #carnivalconquest #cruisereview #shipreview #carnivalcruise #cruisetips #conquest #travel
