#shorts Welcome To Cruising 101: Is Carnival Cheers Package Worth It in 5 Steps. Step 1: determine how much the drink package costs per person, per day. With carnival it’s $$51.95 per day prior to cruising and $56.95 per person, per day if purchased on board. The Cheers Packages includes, unlimited alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. (Under $20) Step #2: determine how many days your cruise is sailing. For this example let’s use 7 days. 7 days x $51.95/day = $363.65 Step #3 - determine how many drinks you’ll have per day. With Carnival the maximum amount of alcoholic drinks you can drink per day is currently 15 drinks. As a reference Most beer is between $6-$8 Wine by the glass $8 -$14 Mixed drinks are $7-$20 And Specialty Cocktails $9-$13 I once bought a truly for $11 + $2 for a tip because I’m a baller Step 4: Know Your Limits Decide if you can drink that many alcoholic drinks per day. If you can drink 5-6 drinks per day at value of at least $10, then the drink package is worth it. If you cannot drink more 5-6 alcoholic drinks per day, then the drink package is not worth it.
