This was our third cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras. On embarkation day, 8/20/2022, we went to the Casino around 2pm and noticed many new slot machines and technicians working on them in a couple of locations. I asked about what I was seeing and they told me the Casino is being upgraded by replacing some slots with slots that are player's favorites and would get more attention and people would play them more often than the previous ones. The casino slots upgrade is taking place every time the Mardi Gras goes back to Port Canaveral, the new slots are brought on board and the technicians install them and move other machines around.
