Day 6 was the first ever New Year's Eve for Carnival Mardi Gras!! See what it was like aboard ship for New Year's Eve!! We started the day off right with omelets at the lido deck buffet, and had pizza at Pizzeria del Capitano for lunch for the first time, so so good! Had a relaxing day out on deck, then drinks at The Fortune Teller Bar, which is our new favorite bar aboard Mardi Gras! Nighttime is when things started to really get festive! We had prime rib and shrimp cocktail in the main dining room, then heard the celestial strings, and several other shows prior to the new year.. There were at least 6 places to go to participate in the New Year's countdown, and we chose the Lido Deck.. Free champagne was all around for the taking, and the lido deck was hopping! More people than we had ever seen on the Lido deck! Such a fun atmosphere, literally the largest New Year's Eve celebration we have ever seen!!!! Come join us!
