It's the second sea day EVER on the inaugural sailing of the Carnival Mardi Gras and I dine at multiple venues all around the ship. I note some of the poor experiences, both in food quality and in service, I begin to have on the rollercoaster of food experiences around the ship. This was my fourth solo cruise. I start off the day with a breakfast burger from Guy's Burger Joint, quickly followed by a delicious honey chicken biscuit at Shaq's Big Chicken - one of the best venues for food onboard the Mardi Gras. I then walk around the Mardi Gras on a ship tour, showing you all of the cool places around the Mardi Gras. I have a very disappointing experience during dinner at Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse. The Carnival Mardi Gras was the first ship to sail from Port Canaveral in over 15 months. The Mardi Gras is the brand new ship from Carnival Cruise Line, the first of its Excel Class of ships.
