A Carnival Cruise passenger is speaking out after claiming she and her husband were denied a refund or future cruise credit following a sudden medical emergency just days before their vacation. According to her Facebook post, her husband suffered a detached retina and underwent emergency surgery only six days before their cruise. Doctors reportedly prohibited him from flying, forcing the couple to cancel what was supposed to be a special 60th birthday trip with their family. The passenger says she submitted doctor’s notes and medical documentation but still received no refund or future cruise credit from Carnival.
