There is a great deal of controversy among the Carnival cruise community over the dining room staff putting on nightly shows at dinner in the main dining room. Some claim it’s degrading to the waitstaff. They believe they are being forced to dance and sing against their will. Others in the Carnival cruise community enjoy the shows. They believe the waitstaff enjoys performing. You will see arguments about this issue on most Carnival Facebook groups. We decided to ask our service team members. They told us that they love dancing and singing for the guests every night. They have fun and it’s their way of thanking the guests for choosing Carnival. You can see it’s not an act.
