The Carnival Sunshine New Years Cruise suffered some propulsion problems resulting in the ship not being able to get up to the speed needed to make it to all the ports of call. The Bimini stop was cancelled and the Aruba, Curacao stops were flipped and the time at the ports changed. Carnival gave every guest a $50 OBC and refunded the taxes and fees for the canceled Bimini stop. This 8 day cruise ended up having 6 days at sea.
