CARTAGENA SPAIN | Walking Tour | Wonder of the Seas | EXCURSION IDEA explores the mediterranean port city by foot. We walk from the ship to all the historical sites such as the Roman Theater, Conception Castle and Calle Mayor (shopping and restaurants). It is a good excursion to see what the city has to offer when time is limited, such as on a cruise stop! Cartagena is located right outside the cruise port and is very easy to navigate. It is a charming city and offers a lot of shopping and good food! The Cartagena Walking Tour requires walking on marble streets, cobblestone, some uneven surfaces and all there is a lot of standing. A few people in our group couldn't manage this and left the tour. I find Cartagena Spain to be full of history and a city that has about 250,000 people in and around it.
