We have been wanting to visit the Great Lakes and here we go! We are starting with Lake Erie and we are in Sandusky, OH at Cedar Point. So many told us to come here... and we see why! Not only is Cedar Point a massive theme park... with its own waterpark, but it's an experience! You come and STAY here! There is a very nice hotel, but we are RVers, so the Lighthouse Campground is perfect for us. And let's talk about these sites... they are incredible! Our little Winnebago Travato looks small in these campsites! They have a built-in BBQ grill, a table that seats 6 and a private firepit with Adirondack chairs! On the first day here, we are just relaxing at the campsite, cooking some burgers and walking to the beach. The next day, we got our roller coaster on! Since we are staying onsite, we have early entry into the theme park and we took full advantage of it! The roller coaster that comes right by our campsite is the one we have been watching over and over and it had to be our first! And, since there was no line, they let us ride it twice! Many rides later, we take a break from the park and hit the beach!
