1/20/26 Celebration Key is an area where Carnival ships dock. Guests aboard the Carnival ships can enjoy this private area owned by Carnival Cruise. Food trucks, restaurants, shops, lagoon, & beaches line this one mile loop. A tram is available if you don't feel like walking. Visitors are greeted by a giant sandcastle. Celebration Key is on Grand Bahama Island in the Bahama's. Turquoise water makes it an ideal place to swim or soak up some sun. Excursions through the cruise line are available for additional cost. Celebration Key is a great place to take in the daily Junkanoo Parade. Junkanoo celebrations originated in the 19th century during the period of slavery in the British Colonies. The celebrations take place around Boxing Day(December 26).
