Join us for a look at a Sunset Veranda stateroom aboard the Celebrity Silhouette! My parents stayed in cabin 8353, a category SV stateroom located on deck 8. This is a highly sought-after aft-facing room, meaning your balcony looks directly out the back of the ship. You will see that instead of looking at a side-view obstruction, you get completely unobstructed, sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and the ship’s wake. There is a reason these wake-view rooms are guest favorites, and we would absolutely book a Sunset Veranda again, as waking up to that view every day was incredible! Celebrity Silhouette is a beautiful Solstice-class cruise ship, her sister ships being Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice, and Celebrity Reflection. Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse, and Silhouette entered service in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively. Reflection was launched last in 2012. Owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises, the Silhouette features a standard Solstice-class layout and can accommodate 2,886 passengers. Celebrity Silhouette underwent a massive dry dock refurbishment as part of the "Celebrity Revolution" program, which brought an entirely modernized aesthetic, updated stateroom interiors, and refreshed public venues to match the look of the newer Edge-class ships.
