A promotional video of the SS Britanis of Chandris Fantasy Cruises from 1987. The Britanis began life as the US built Monterey in 1932. She sailed from 1932 to 1956 as the Monterey. From 1956 to 1963 as the Matsonia and from 1963 to 1970 as the Lurline. In 1971, Chandris purchased the ship and named her the Britanis. The Britanis sailed with Chandris up until 1994. She sank on her way to the breakers in 2000.
