Welcome to our Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas Cruise Port Vlog! 🇻🇮 In this video we're exploring the island's iconic Cable Car, historic Fort Christian and more. If you're planning a cruise stop in St Thomas, this vlog is your perfect guide! We stopped at Charlotte Amalie in St Thomas on our Oasis of the Seas cruise from Miami, excited about visiting the US Virgin Islands for the first time. Charlotte Amalie is the capital of the US Virgin Islands and is on the island of St Thomas. Most cruise ships dock at Crown Bay, where there's lots of restaurants and shops at the Crown Bay Center. While you can walk from the cruise port to the centre of Charlotte Amalie (it took us under an hour), a taxi might be a good option for others. We really enjoyed exploring Charlotte Amalie. We got the cable car called the Island View Skyride to Paradise Point and spent some time at the Paradise Point Lookout, taking in the great view of Charlotte Amalie, our cruise ship and the surrounding islands. We also visited Fort Christian to learn some of the history of Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas and the US Virgin Islands. Our visit to Charlotte Amalie was brilliant! The Skyride to Paradise Point is definitely one of the top things to do in St Thomas.
