After our bus incident, the bus passengers decided to continue the tour and visit the quaint French town of Sainte Mere Eglise, which was one of the first French towns liberated during World War 2. We had only 1 hour to see the the town, the church where Paratrooper John Steele landed after descending down and the incredible Airborne Museum. The Museum showcases how the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne heroically freed this town.
