Welcome to a BRAND NEW CHRISTMAS VLOG SERIES!!! Who is feeling Christmassy?!! My plan for Christmas 2023 is to have a video a week in the lead up to Christmas showing some Christmassy/ festive content! I hope you will enjoy it!!! In this vlog we explore York at Christmastime! We have an overnight stay at York, a bit of a York City Break at Christmas. We drive to York and get to the Hilton York. It is extremely busy! I show you around the York Christmas Markets and we then go to Shambles. It is believe to have been Shambles that inspired Diagon Alley! I show you Shambles but it is very busy, stay tuned until the next day in this vlog to see Shambles better! We look around York city, York Minster and some York shops. We have lunch on the Christmas markets and at York Roast Co. We got back to the Hilton York and I give you a room Tour of a standard room at the Hilton. I then give you a bit of a background as to why we are in York! We are here to see Alistair Griffin! I am a big fan of his and loved Fame Academy 2. I was pretty obsessed with it when I was younger! We then head over to Q Church where I meet Katie and we have the best seats!! I leave a couple of clips in so you can get a feel of the concert! We have such a fun night! Hope you enjoy hearing some of the best Christmas songs! The concert is called the Big Christmas Concert by Ignite Concerts, I have linked them above. The next day we get a much better day in York! It's a lot quieter so I am able to show you around York better. We go to Betty's Tea Rooms where I show you the bakery! We get the famous fat rascals and other yummy treats. We then go to Caffe Nero for breakfast and to try the festive menu! We go back to a very quiet Shambles. All quiet except the York Ghost Merchants! Huge line for that. We'll have to check it out next time! We get some food for the drive home, head back to the hotel for our stuff at reception and drive home!! It is then time to go home.
