http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com For some in our group, spotting birds on the Danube Delta Cruise was a major highlight of the entire Romania tour, and a never to be forgotten experience. For Steve and myself, the loud and prolific frogs, and flocks of white pelicans flying in formation were small but good highlights. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I would recommend taking one of the fast motor boats that were always whizzing down the Danube past us, taking tourists into the smaller tributaries to see birds.
