Since we couldn't get permits to hike Half Dome, we opted to do the Clouds Rest Day Hike for a sunrise mission instead...and it did NOT disappoint! This day hike is around 15 miles round trip (and can also be done as a backpacking trip if you have the proper permits) and Clouds Rest quite possibly has the best views in all of Yosemite National Park.
