COMPREHENSIVE CRUISE NEWS UPDATE: How & When Cruises Are Starting in the USA

Exciting cruise news! We've had our first announcements of cruises restarting from the U.S. and it is amazing. However, this is just one of the good cruise updates we've heard this week. In this video we go go over the important cruise news updates as well as look at how cruises will be restarting in US cruise ports (including protocols and CDC updates). Our top news stories include a return of Alaskan cruises which will start in July 2021. Major cruise lines including Princess Cruises, Holland America, Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Line. In today's video we go over what needs to happen first for cruises to resume in Alaska, and from other cruise ports in the United States. However, things are looking good and Alaska cruises have officially been announced by cruise lines. There are some cruise cancellations as cruise lines make deployment changes. Cruises will be starting back from the Bahamas and Caribbean in June and July 2021. MSC Cruises has had it's maiden voyage of MSC Grandiosa in the UK. This is a restart for UK cruises, which was a 4 day cruise from Southhampton. We look at cruise vaccine requirements and policies, and changes made by Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean. As well, we look at continuing updates to the CDC Conditional Sail Order, which includes changes to cruise testing protocols, mask and shore excursion rules, as well as some new information for length of cruise and Back to Back cruises.
