Creator's Key Takeaways

So far, the service on board the ship has been really good. We can't fault anything, really. And, Savona itself was a lovely port to visit, too.

It was such good fun, and we got really involved and were really enjoying ourselves dancing. It was, you know, really hot in there, and everybody was getting a bit hot and bothered, but it was a fantastic event.

We weren't massively impressed with the selection that was in the buffet restaurant. However, we both managed to find ourselves something to eat.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

In October 2023, we joined Costa Diadema in Marseille for our very first Costa Cruise. This was our second day onboard, where we visited the port of Savona, Italy, which is Costa's home port. We also enjoyed Italian Night onboard the ship, which might be one of the best parties we've experienced on a cruise ship! Costa Diadema is a Dream Class cruise ship, owned by Carnival Corporation. She entered service in 2014, and was formerly the flag ship of Costa Crociere. Diadema can carry almost 5000 passengers at maximum capacity and spends most of her summer season in the Mediterranean, which is where we were for our cruise.
