Costa Diadema Day 4 - Civitavecchia on Halloween and a White Party back onboard

In October 2023, we joined Costa Diadema in Marseille for our very first Costa Cruise. This was our fouth day onboard, where we visited the port of Civitavecchia, Italy, which is the port for Rome. We planned to get the train into Rome and had prebooked tickets, but we were faced with more adverse weather. Did we make it to Rome? It was Halloween, so back onboard the party was in full swing with lots of decorations and a very lively Halloween White Party combo. Costa Diadema is a Dream Class cruise ship, owned by Carnival Corporation. She entered service in 2014, and was formerly the flag ship of Costa Crociere. Diadema can carry almost 5000 passengers at maximum capacity and spends most of her summer season in the Mediterranean, which is where we were for our cruise.
