Creator's Key Takeaways
Now, this silent disco was by far the best silent disco we've ever seen on a cruise ship.
We still find it quite bizarre that you cannot get free pizza on board an Italian ship, but it was worth paying for.
It was really busy and quite chaotic. Nobody was really directing anybody to anywhere and then there were absolutely massive queues for the bus.
The dinner did end with the best dessert of the cruise, I would say. It was so, so good.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
In October 2023, we joined Costa Diadema in Marseille for our very first Costa Cruise. This was our seventh day onboard, where we were due to dock in Valencia but more adverse weather conditions led to a change of plans. During the evening we were invited to a party where we were lucky enough to meet the captain. We also enjoyed one of the best Silent Discos we'd ever been to! In this video we also take you through the disembarkation procedures and our journey home from Marseille. Costa Diadema is a Dream Class cruise ship, owned by Carnival Corporation. She entered service in 2014, and was formerly the flag ship of Costa Crociere. Diadema can carry almost 5000 passengers at maximum capacity and spends most of her summer season in the Mediterranean, which is where we were for our cruise.
