We were caught in a scary hail storm while camping on the Kentucky River... Wind blowing like crazy, huge trees all around us and golf ball size hail hitting our RV!! Not fun!! Oh, and the roof started leaking on the van, so that had to be fixed!! But other than that, we really enjoyed camping in Kentucky. We were right alongside the Kentucky River at a great campground (Cummins Ferry RV Park & Campground) and spent three days just relaxing, fishing and hanging out with friends.
