This karaoke performance of "Crocodile Rock" was sung by Michelle Stacey on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship "Quantum Of The Seas" in December of 2025. The original song became a hit in 1970 for Elton John. Jeff's fun karaoke version of the song features an excellent vocal performance, but is also noteworthy for Jeff's professional stage presence. Unlike most karaoke singers, Jeff actually had the lyrics memorized and did not need to stand in front of a video monitor to know the words. This freed him up to roam around the entire stage and engage with the crowd. Watching his confidence on stage, it is easy to see that earlier in his life, Jeff was a professional singer and performer. But this particular performance was just for fun, during a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Mexican Riviera. The reaction of the crowd at the conclusion of the performance tells you everything you need to know about how Jeff's performance compared to the performances before and after by other karaoke singers. This was not a competition, but if it had been, Jeff would almost certainly have won it.
