Four cruise ships departing from Southampton on Saturday 10th August 2013. The first to depart was Princess Cruises' "Crown Princess" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at 16:06, having to turn in the Upper Swinging Ground and then heading out for Bergen, Norway. She was followed by Royal Caribbean International's "Independence of the Seas" from the 'City' Terminal at 16:46 heading for Gibraltar. On her way out she saluted with Cunard's "Queen Elizabeth" (at the 'Ocean' Terminal) and then with Oceania Cruises' "Marina" (at the 'QEII' Terminal). The "Marina" was the next to depart at 17:04 following on behind "Independence of the Seas" - her destination being Amsterdam, Holland. "Queen Elizabeth" was the last to get underway at 17:28 for Stavanger, Norway after allowing the car carrier "Leo Spirit" to depart from Berth 44 at 17:14 heading for Suez. The yacht carrier "Schippersgracht" had departed from Berth 104 for Bremerhaven shortly before "Queen Elizabeth" at 17:27 and had to turn following on behind. Viewed from Hythe Marina.
