CRUISE LUGGAGE TIPS: LUGGAGE SHIPPING [Luggage Forward REVIEW] discusses how to ship your luggage home from an international destination. Have you ever thought about traveling after a cruise and you just did not want to carry a 50 pound bag around Europe as you extended your stay? Well, I discovered Luggage Forward, a baggage delivery service that ships your luggage to and from the cruise ship port. Their website: Luggageforward.com Luggage Forward was nice enough to give me a big discount on their services so I could try it out and let you know what I thought about it, and if it would be a good option for you! It was an easy process. The best plan is doing this at least 2 weeks ahead of time in the US so that you can get the forms sent to your home address. It is possible to call them, if you have extenuating circumstances. It was easy to work with the Luggage Forward team and as you can see in the video, I had no problems. The only thing to look out for, is that you must connect with someone in baggage claim, so they can pick up your bags. I found a courier, baggage service in baggage claim that knew of the situation and held my bags until a Luggage Forward representative arrived. Ask questions, you may not have someone standing there with a sign, because they have no idea what time you disembark and probably you have no internet! It all worked out great and I am happy to say my bags arrived ahead of schedule to my home in perfect condition. Thank you Luggage Forward for allowing me to try your services.
