What to pack for a cruise? Here are 5 things you might want to take on your cruise. See 5 other things here: http://youtu.be/OvbMha5BQpQ Hey cruisers, it's Sheri with CruiseTipsTV back with more packing tips. Stick around β€˜til the end of this video because we want your help! Now for 5 more packing tips for your next cruise adventure. Number 1 - a Flashlight Ever stubbed your toe while making a bathroom run in the middle of the night in your pitch-black stateroom? I sometimes pack a tiny flashlight to avoid uncomfortable run in with the coffee table. You may not use it, but it could come in handy, especially if you're traveling with children. Since there are no clocks to provide night time illumination in cruise cabins, they can be a surprisingly dark. Okay, by now you may know that I'm a bit of a germaphobe. But come on folks, there is nothing less appetizing to me than touching 20 serving utensils at the buffet line, then sitting down to eat without washing my hands. Instead of making a mad dash to the ladies room, I carry a little supply of hand sanitizing wipes with my cruise card. Depending on the cruise line, I sometimes throw a travel hair dryer in my bag. For safety reasons, cruise hair dryers tend to have very little power and some even require that you hold down the power button the entire time you're drying your hair. Ladies and gentlemen- that is not fun. If space in your suitcase is limited, Check with other cruisers before you travel to get the real scoop on the hair dryers. Searching a cruise forum, like cruise critic, can be a great way to do this. This may seem like an odd suggestion, but it takes No space and can be used in tons of ways. We pack any liquid toiletries in these bags when we cruise- sunscreen, shampoo and anything that could leak get double-packed in a Ziploc for our trip. As we use those items on our cruise we recycle the bags for things like wet swimsuits, separating dirty clothes from clean ones, and packing chargers and cords. We've said this before friends, don't be caught on a cruise without enough storage space your camera. You could miss a once in a lifetime photo. We find the best deals at places like Costco. So stock up and click away! Thanks for tuning in! Now for that favor... We'd love it if you Leave YOUR best packing tips in the comments below, so we can include them in an upcoming special episode.
