Hey sailors, Today, I am joined by Andy who is an onboard safety trainer for Carnival UK. Safety is a huge part of every crew member's job onboard. As well as crew members having their actual job onboard to get to grips with, they also have to get their head around fire safety, how to use a lifeboat, security awareness, survival at sea, crowd management and so much more because its all knowledge we would have to employ if the ship were to go into a state of emergency. Andy is in charge of making sure every crew member on board knows what they're doing when it comes to safety which is a huge responsibility. We hope you enjoy today's interview and find it helpful.
