CRYSTAL SERENITY CRUISE SHIP ARRIVES SOUTHAMPTON 22/08/23

The Crystal Cruises 'Crystal Serenity' left Lisbon Portugal for a 10 days one-way cruise to Southampton and is seen arriving this morning August 22nd 2023 passing Town Quay to arrive at the Mayflower Cruise Terminal for about 07:30am. The weather was just ideal with calm waters and hardly any wind, there were a few other cruise ship enthusiasts nearby all watching her arrive and taking their own photograph's. I was told by one that 'Crystal Serenity' had been in Southampton before about 19 years ago when she was last here, but this is the first time I have ever seen her although she is a sister ship to 'Crystal Symphony' now that I had seen. Also she was christened by Julie Andrews. The Cruise Ship 'Crystal Serenity' was built 20 years ago and is now getting on a bit & earlier this year she had a refurbishment carried out. She is due to depart Southampton later today for another cruise 8 days one-way from Southampton to Reykjavik via Plymouth, Cobh-Cork Ireland, Holyhead Anglesey Island Wales, Peel-Douglas Isle of Man, Foyle Port Londonderry Northern Ireland then arriving Reykjavik Iceland on the 30th August 2023.
