Welcome to a BRAND NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE SERIES!!! We are on the 13 Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We sailed on the Disney Dream on 20th October 2024 - 2nd November 2024 and this is our itinerary: Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day Day 2 - Day at Sea Day 3 - Vigo, Spain Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal Day 5 - Day at Sea Day 6 - Day at Sea Day 7 - Ponta Delgada, The Azores Day 8 - Day at Sea Day 9 - Day at Sea Day 10 - Day at Sea Day 11 - Day at Sea Day 12 - Day at Sea Day 13 - Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Day 14 - Debarkation Day at Fort Lauderdale, Florida We start off with the trailer for the new DCL vlog series! I hope you like it!! I show you glimpses of what we get up to at the ports and on the Disney Dream on this westbound transatlantic cruise (WBTA). In today's vlog we are in Vigo Spain! I show you are tour of Vigo from port and everything we get up to! Things to do in Vigo! The vlog starts with us coming into port, I then go to top deck to show you the view of Vigo. We are all so happy for the weather after a horrendously rocky sea day yesterday! We get off the ship and I show you how easy it is to sea Vigo from the port. I show you the Media Markt, Casino and we walk along the port to the Historical area. We then go into the city centre where there is a mermaid man up high along with some amazing architecture. They are getting ready for Christmas so I show you all the Christmas lights. We go for hot chocolate, coffee and churros. They were delicious!! We look around Vigo city centre and go up Gran Via to see the multicoloured escalators and statues. On the way back to the ship we go to the Santa Maria Co Cathedral. Unfortunately the church is closed but I get to show you inside a little bit! On the way to the ship we notice that the funnel is getting painted!! Once onboard I show you using a map of Vigo the route we took to tour the city. We then grab some food from the brand new Ramone's Cantina - a new taco place on board the Disney Dream! It was absolutely delicious an amazing upgrade since Dry Dock! We hear that the characters are all in their Spanish outfits so we go and meet Chip n Dale, Goofy and Minnie! We go back to the stateroom to watch sail away from Vigo and catch the famous Disney horns! I film our towel animal and turndown service and then catch the sunset! I didn't vlog the rest of the night and picked up the camera in Lisbon to say goodbye. Stay tuned next week for a full vlog in Lisbon, Portugal and see all the places we go to!
