Welcome to a BRAND NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE SERIES!!! We are on the 13 Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We sailed on the Disney Dream on 20th October 2024 - 2nd November 2024 and this is our itinerary: Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day Day 2 - Day at Sea Day 3 - Vigo, Spain Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal Day 5 - Day at Sea Day 6 - Day at Sea Day 7 - Ponta Delgada, The Azores Day 8 - Day at Sea Day 9 - Day at Sea Day 10 - Day at Sea Day 11 - Day at Sea Day 12 - Day at Sea Day 13 - Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Day 14 - Debarkation Day at Fort Lauderdale, Florida We start off with the trailer for the new DCL vlog series! I hope you like it!! I show you glimpses of what we get up to at the ports and on the Disney Dream on this westbound transatlantic cruise (WBTA). In today's vlog we are in Ponta Delgada, The Azores. We have an excursion booked with Disney, Sete Cidades Lake Vistas, Botanical Garden and Pineapple Plantation. I show you what you get to see on the tour and whether it is worth it! We get off the ship at Ponta Delgada and go straight into a tour bus at the port. Our first stop is Sete Cidades were we see an amazing green lake and blue lake together (lagoa verde and lagoa azul) we have an amazing viewpoint of the two lakes. We then head through a tiny town in the middle of a crater and see St. Nicholas Church at Sao Miguel. The next stop is the Botanical Gardens we see some beautiful flowers and trees. We then stop at a Pineapple Plantation and learn all about pineapples. He gives us an in depth talk about how a pineapple is made (found it so interesting but just skip if not your thing!) We then take a look inside all the greenhouses and nurseries and see how it all works! We look around the pineapple store, try pineapple liqueur and then get back onto the tour bus! We got back to the ship and had a quick lunch in cabanas. We got off the ship again to talk a look around Ponta Delgada town . We loved all the black and white buildings and mosaic flooring, we look around some of the shops and then head back to the ship. Back on board we sailaway and watch a new character deck party! It was so fun, loved the music! Then we met Donald before dinner! We ate at Royal Palace tonight and then head back to our room to see the towel animal. While we wait for the theatre show, we did the Midship Detective Agency! I don't show all of the game but we have so much fun! Then it's time to see Michelle Knight in the Walt Disney Theatre.
