Creator's Key Takeaways

I have to say for our first attempt coming here first thing in the morning was good because as you guys hopefully saw I had to reset my settings, but there was nobody here

I recommend not coming first thing in the morning. Maybe wait until the sun has gone up a little bit higher so you can have more light if you don't have a dive light

It's a crisp 72. Crisp 72 year round. Uh but it is nice

Creator's Tips & Advice

Get there early to avoid crowds
Use an underwater dive light for better videography
Wait for the sun to be higher for more light if you don't have a dive light
Bring an air fryer for versatile cooking while RV camping

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We finally made it to Devil’s Den Prehistoric Spring in Florida. We camped for July 4th, cooked for the crew, and then hit the sinkhole cavern to snorkel the 72°F spring. You’ll see the check-in area, the stairway into the den, the lagoon and pool, gear options, and what it’s like in the water (low light, fish, turtles, and lots of people after opening). Notes from our day: morning snorkel = fewer people but darker video; mid-day gives more light from the opening; an underwater dive light helps a lot. The campground has power/water layouts that can be odd per site, so bring hose and cable length. We also show food prep, a quick breakfast hack, and why an air fryer is clutch for RV trips.
