Welcome to our temporary home in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, courtesy of Villa Vie Residences! Due to another delay in our Odyssey cruise from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Villa Vie sent us to the lovely Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel & Spa. It's not only cheaper to house us here but also offers much better weather compared to Belfast. In this video, we highlight the warmth and comfort of Tenerife. The resort offers a much cheaper stay, with weather reminiscent of Maui. Villa Vie set us up with a half-board package, and for an additional €15 per day, we upgraded to all-inclusive, including lunch. We take you on a walkthrough of our very large room with a huge balcony and living room. Our new VV friends and neighbors are staying in the room next to us, making our stay even more enjoyable. Explore the pool area and outside bar, where Johan had a relaxing moment as the hotel cat jumped on his lap for a cuddle. We also give you a look at the dinner buffet at the Golden Buffet Restaurant, featuring beer and wine on tap and a great spread of food. End the day with us as we enjoy a stunning 9:30 pm sunset from the pool.
