Disney Alaska Cruise Characters I Spotted! These were all characters I was able to meet during the cruise (hosted). Here are some tips: Alaska Characters - See Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and more in their exclusive Alaska outfits! These appearances usually begin mid-cruise on Glacier Day. The most popular time to meet them is on that day, as they're often outside with the stunning glacier and mountain backdrop. However, lines can get pretty longer. After Glacier Day, you may find these characters with shorter lines inside the ship. Disney Princesses - On non-port days, you may be able to sign up for the Royal Gathering to meet several princesses at once. This is complimentary, but spots fill up well in advance! Reserve your spot through the Navigator application. If you miss the opportunity, ask Guest Relations upon boarding if there are any openings. Rare Characters - All character lineups can vary! We met Koda during the Private Family Scavenger Hunt Port Adventure. This experience combined a guided nature walk, scavenger hunt, and a surprise character meet.
