Disney Dream's FIRST TIME at Lookout Cay, Lighthouse Point! DCL New Destination on Eleuthera Island

Welcome to a BRAND NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE SERIES!!! We are on the 13 Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We sailed on the Disney Dream on 20th October 2024 - 2nd November 2024 and this is our itinerary: Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day Day 2 - Day at Sea Day 3 - Vigo, Spain Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal Day 5 - Day at Sea Day 6 - Day at Sea Day 7 - Ponta Delgada, The Azores Day 8 - Day at Sea Day 9 - Day at Sea Day 10 - Day at Sea Day 11 - Day at Sea Day 12 - Day at Sea Day 13 - Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Day 14 - Debarkation Day at Fort Lauderdale, Florida We start off with the trailer for the new DCL vlog series! I hope you like it!! I show you glimpses of what we get up to at the ports and on the Disney Dream on this westbound transatlantic cruise (WBTA). In this vlog we go to Disney's brand new destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. We are on top deck but it was extremely windy so I carried on the intro in the room! I show you the map of how far we have come across the Atlantic Ocean. We head off the ship to the pier. We heard that it is long. It was about a 9-10 minute walk but it is in the sun so bring a hat! The end of the pier had the most incredible view of the ship, island and the blue ocean (I talk about the blue ocean like 80 times, sorry about that it was just so stunning) You have to get the tram over to the other side of the island you cannot walk so we got the tram, it was about a 6 minute tram ride over. As soon as you get off the tram it leads you to the Lookout Cay store. We look at some Disney merch and do some shopping but inside it was so busy! I'll show you what we buy in the haul! We then go for a walk around the south part of the island which is the family area, we go past a few bars and a kids splash area, I show the family beach and we go to True True BBQ where there will be lunch later. I show you a look at the menu before it opens. I show you on a map the route we are walking. We then head north through more family areas, True True 2 BBQ and then the adult only area, Serenity Bay. We take a look at the beautiful cabanas as we go passed! The adult only area had a wonderful band but the beach area was quite busy so we headed back to the family area where it was a little quieter. We have some beach time which I capture and then I put my camera away to enjoy! Then it was time for lunch, we headed to the adults only area for lunch but it was SO busy there were long lines so we went to True True instead where it was a lot quieter for us. I show you the food pass and what's available to eat on Lookout Cay. The buffet food looked amazing! We had seen vlogs showing lots of flies on the food and buffet at Lookout Cay but we luckily didn't see any. It was very windy and might not be the season for them but we were thankful they were gone! We head to Play Play Pavilion to see a character dance party and then there was a Junkanoo parade. The costumes and music was amazing! Then it was sadly time to head back on board the Disney Dream. Once on board we went on the aqua duck and chilled at sapphire falls. We then watched sail away from Lookout Cay. For our last dinner we were are Royal Palace where it was my favourite menu of the cruise. We packed, went to the theatre and then watch the final show, See you Real Soon where we said goodbye to all the characters!
