While visiting St. Kitts on our recent Southern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Magic, we took part in the Disney Cruise Line excursion, Catamaran Fantasea (SK02). After we got off the ship, it was a short walk to the pier where our catamaran was waiting to be boarded. After a brief safety drill and an explanation of our day, we were off! After about a 45-minute sailing, we reached our first stop, it was time for some snorkeling. We were provided with gear and spent 45 minutes in the water where we saw fish, coral, volcanic rock formations and even a turtle! It was then time to get back onboard the catamaran, where it was time for lunch. We had a delicious buffet of salad, chicken, mac & cheese, and beans and rice with sweet potato cake for dessert. Along with our food, we had an open bar which included the Caribbean staple, rum punch. After lunch, we sailed to the island of Nevis and visited Pinney's Beach. We had access to chairs and shade and an open bar. However, we spent our time in the water until we were called back onboard. During the sail back to our ship, we were treated to good drinks and great music, and everyone disembarked the catamaran in good spirits with great memories. We had a great time on this excursion and would do it again if we are lucky enough to visit St. Kitts in the future.!
