Disney Treasure: Best of Cozumel Excursion - Honey, Chocolate, & Tequila Experience

On our recent Disney Treasure cruise, we experienced the DCL excursion, Best of Cozumel: Honey, Chocolate and Tequila Experience (CZ81). After we were escorted off the ship and taken through the port area to our bus, we made our first stop at the Mayan Bee Sanctuary. Here, we learned about honeybees without stingers, how they create honey and also extract it from the source. We were also given a couple of samples and had the opportunity to purchase some products before taking off. Our next stop was on the other end of the island, and it took a while to get there. But the drive was beautiful and eventually we made it to our second stop, The Mayan Cacao Company. Here, we were given a demonstration on chocolate making, we also got to sample some fresh made chocolate and a chocolate mole sauce. They also had many different chocolate cocktails to purchase (our chocolate daiquiri was very good) and we had the opportunity to purchase chocolate before leaving. Our final stop was at Barriecito Tequila. Here, we learned a little about tequila, how it's made and the differences between flavored (not Tequila) and those that contain a worm (also, not Tequila, and don't buy). We then had some samples of different flavors and again we were given the opportunity to do some shopping. After our three stops, we were then taken back to port where we said goodbye to our driver and guide.
