Boarding the Disney Wish Cruise Ship | Embarkation Day Chaos! 🚢 | Disney Cruise Line Bahamas Today we’re boarding the incredible Disney Wish cruise ship from Port Canaveral, Florida for the start of our Bahamas cruise with Disney Cruise Line! Join us as we drive from Kissimmee to Cape Canaveral, stopping for a little breakfast and drinks at the cruise port while watching the ships arrive before embarkation begins. We also show you the parking situation at Port Canaveral, which is really useful if you’re driving to the cruise terminal. But embarkation day wasn’t quite as magical as expected… The boarding process for the Disney Wish turned into a bit of chaos with long lines and crowds being moved through the terminal. Once onboard things didn’t slow down either, with the muster drill, crowds around the elevators, and the sail away party being moved indoors to the main lobby across Decks 3, 4 and 5, making the ship extremely busy. Once things finally settled down and we were sailing away from Port Canaveral, we explored our balcony stateroom, checked out the ship, watched a show and enjoyed dinner at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure. We also finished the night with some relaxing drinks in the piano bar, a much calmer way to end embarkation day on the Disney Wish.
