We have found some amazing beaches in Hawaii! And this one may be the best... it is ranked the #1 beach in the USA! Poipu Beach really is spectacular! It has everything that makes a beach perfect... beautiful sandy beach, an area for snorkeling, waves for knee boarding or surfing... oh and wildlife! There are seals and sea turtles that will come up to rest on the beach. What was really convenient, is there was a rental shop across the street for us to rent chairs and a boogie board... and they also have a deli for lunch and yummy Hawaiian Shave Ice! We had two days in Kauai, but we spent the second day relaxing on the ship where we made gorgeous real flower leis... that was really cool! But when you leave the port in Kauai, you sail along the Napali Coast. This is breathtaking! The landscape is mountainous and luscious green... you just have to see it to understand!
