Welcome to a BRAND NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE SERIES!!! We are on the 13 Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We sailed on the Disney Dream on 20th October 2024 - 2nd November 2024 and this is our itinerary: Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day Day 2 - Day at Sea Day 3 - Vigo, Spain Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal Day 5 - Day at Sea Day 6 - Day at Sea Day 7 - Ponta Delgada, The Azores Day 8 - Day at Sea Day 9 - Day at Sea Day 10 - Day at Sea Day 11 - Day at Sea Day 12 - Day at Sea Day 13 - Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Day 14 - Debarkation Day at Fort Lauderdale, Florida We start off with the trailer for the new DCL vlog series! I hope you like it!! I show you glimpses of what we get up to at the ports and on the Disney Dream. I then talk quickly about the itinerary and ports of this westbound transatlantic cruise (WBTA). It's then time to leave the Ibis at the Southampton dock and head to City Terminal where the Disney Dream is docked. We dropped off our suitcases and went into the line to check in. It was then time to board the ship! Embarking on the Disney Dream is the most special moment! We headed straight Aft to the aft elevators to go up to Cabanas. I show you what's available for lunch in Cabanas (this is the only time I show a full tour of lunch!) Then it's 1:30pm so it's time to go into our cabin! I give you a stateroom tour of our stateroom 5536 and I also give you a room tour of 5534. We are in a deluxe family extended verandah cabin, we've never seen the extended balcony before and it was amazing! I give you a full tour of room 5536. The split bathroom, bedroom, sitting area, desk, storage and then the extended verandah! We then get a knock on the door and we get our Castaway Club member goodies! This is our first cruise as a Castaway Club Gold member! I let you know the categories and what the welcome gifts are. It's then time to tour the ship! We go straight up to Sense Spa where I show you around the facilities and Rainforest room. We then attend a raffle and I only go and win! I won a voucher which we use later in the cruise! I show you some things that have changed since dry dock, carpets, monitors, funnel vision, the new Ramone's Cantina tacos. It's then time for the mandatory drill in the Walt Disney Theatre. Next up we go to the Sail Away Party on top deck where there is a Disney character dance show and countdown to the Disney horns. We then check out Oceaneer Lab as that has had some upgrades since dry dock, the monitors and floor screens plus Disney Infinity and been switched out to Spiderman - Mobile Web Workshop. We go back to the stateroom and our suitcases have been delivered and I show you our door magnets! I get transatlantic cruise merch at the store and show you the pin! Then it's time for dinner at our rotational dining room Royal Palace. I show you the menu and what we order. We head to Evolution for a decades quiz. Then back to the stateroom and we've had our turndown service and an elephant towel animal. We go up to top deck to get some drinks and we have a little look at the ship at night! We tour around Vanellope's to see what sweet treats are available. We then take a look around the shops I show you the Disney Cruise Line merchandise and we do some Disney shopping! On the way out we see Captain Minnie and Donald in his sailor outfit in the atrium! We go back to the stateroom and I do the outro. See you next week for our first sea day!
