Empress of the Seas: Key West Arrival & Departure on October 11th, 2019

On October 11th the Empress of the Seas made a visit to Key West Florida. Making her arrival just as the sun rose over the island she was docked by 7:45 AM along side the Margaritaville Resort. Spending the day under sunny skies she prepared for departure as the Key West Sunset Celebration took over Mallory Square directly in front of her. Just past 6:45 she moved away from the pier and set sail for the open ocean once again. As she cleared the island a line of showers crossed the horizon ahead. Just after the pilot departed the vessel she entered the line clearing the top decks before emerging on the other side to a beautiful blend of light and darkness as the final moments of sunset came to an end.
