ENGLISH GIRL HIKES TO FORTIFICATIONS ABOVE CRUISE PORT KOTOR, MONTENEGRO: REVIEW VIDEO

Cruising into the bay of Kotor, Montenegro (a popular cruise port) is like sailing into a fjord-like wonderland - the scenery is that stunning. From your ship you can see the ancient fortifications of Kotor high in the hills and this review video takes me through the pretty old town to the start of the ancient path which leads to a hike like no other. The hike will make you sweat and pant and have your thighs screaming, but boy is it worth it for the view. If your cruise stops here and you're fit and able (you can always take it slow) then this is a must. Just be sure to take plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes (flip flops are a no-no).
