Have you ever wondered what a local passholders day is at a Disney Park? Well here you go! Welcome back Traveler Family to my crazy day at EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2023. I went with the purpose of spending a leisurely afternoon drifting around the park and trying many scrumptious festival treats that I could share with you. I had visions of all the wonderful merchandise that I could showcase for you in celebration of this year's festival and for our MERCHANDISE MONDAY! (Michelle wake up....wake up...you fell asleep for a second! Don't you remember what a usual day looks like at the parks?) huh? what? Oh yeah...this is my real day around Disney's EPCOT Festival of the Arts for 2023. I should have known from the start it wasn't going to go well! My lovely annual pass, that I pay dearly for mind you, showed the infamous blue ring three times! Now being a nurse, I know I have washed my fingerprints right off my fingers so that is always an issue. The kind cast member was able to get the thing to go green at the delight of the line behind me. I will say the Festival Passport this year is delightful to read and very easy with the color code system. Has that always been there and I just didn't notice? Anyway, if someone can tell me where the Beverage was for Connections Eatery I would greatly appreciate it! I had dropped of Todd earlier, as he is helping Greg McCullough in his booth this year. Todd has always been a huge art fan and is excited to help in any way he can. I had planned to meet up with him in the booth and get some footage of him laughing and talking....haha...good try. Anyway, the day was a disaster as I couldn't find much merchandise, the crowds were unbelievable and the food....well...you will see. To top it all off, after I decided to leave, my car decided to stay. In florida, a cold weather day is the kiss of death for many warm blooded car batteries. So because I mentioned my phone battery was dying as soon as I got back to my car I put my phone on life support and decided to sit and text with a friend for a bit. A bit turned into 30 minutes which I guess is the limit to my heat worshiping car battery as it decided to rest for awhile and not start my car. (I guess I should have filmed this!) Anyway, a quick flag down of security resulted in a quick 3 minute Disney Rescue. I didn't get her name but she was a Disney Angel and gave my car a kickstart which had me on my way in no time. Thank you Traveler Family for putting up with my shenanigans and I hope you get some enjoyment out of my suffering! lol Today I lived our motto, Travel and Adventure is Out There!
