Being able to walk where Walt walked and see aspects of Disneyland that were original to the park or hold a sense of nostalgia was amazing! We decided to do something we had never done at Magic Kingdom and really take the time to explore Main Street USA. We started with a snack, well a hot dog to be exact, at the Refreshment Corner in which a piano player was entertaining us with ragtime tunes. Next door was the Penny Arcade which was the first place that really wowed us! These machines are all original to the park and still cost a penny! Also in this building is a huge calliope playing Heigh Ho from Snow White and a box where for a quarter you can make Pinocchio dance! We caught the Disneyland Band marching with all of our favorite characters and we followed them down to the train station for a fun show that we didn’t even know about. The horses were about to go into the day, so we took this opportunity to take a trolley ride all the way down Main Street to the castle and then back again. So much history here!
