EXPLORA I is het eerste schip uit de Explora-vloot en telt een lengte van 248 meter. Er is plaats voor maximaal 900 gasten aan boord en er zijn 640 bemanningsleden die u helemaal in de watten leggen tijdens uw reis. Het schip telt maar liefst 461 ruime suites, penthouses en residenties (beginnend vanaf 35 m²). Het schip beschikt over drie buitenzwembaden op de uitgestrekte zonnedekken, een overdekt binnenzwembad met uitschuifbaar glazen dak en 64 privé cabana’s. Daarnaast bieden de 700 m² grote wellnessruimte en het ultramoderne fitnesscentrum een heerlijke plek om te sporten en te ontspannen. In totaal zijn er 18 verschillende culinaire belevingen aan boord, waaronder 6 restaurants en 12 bars en lounges (zowel binnen als buiten). Er zijn maar liefst 4 restaurants waar buiten gedineerd kan worden. Explora I is een schip dat vaart op LNG. Dit is een milieuvriendelijker alternatief voor de gewone scheepsbrandstoffen. In de toekomst zullen er steeds meer cruiseschepen op LNG varen. Zelf merkt u niks anders tussen schepen die wel of niet LNG gebruiken, naast dat het duurzamer is. U kunt nog steeds genieten van een cruise die u gewent bent! Aan boord stapt u in een wereld van luxe, maar dan wel met een fijne informele sfeer. The ship has no less than 461 spacious suites, penthouses and residences (starting from 35 m²). The ship features three outdoor pools on the expansive sundecks, an indoor pool with retractable glass roof and 64 private cabanas. In addition, the 700 m² wellness area and the state-of-the-art fitness center provide a wonderful place to work out and relax. In total there are 18 different culinary experiences on board, including 6 restaurants and 12 bars and lounges (both indoors and outdoors). There are no less than 4 restaurants where you can dine outside. Explora I is a ship that runs on LNG. This is a more environmentally friendly alternative to regular marine fuels. In the future, more and more cruise ships will run on LNG. You will not notice anything different between ships that do or do not use LNG, besides that it is more sustainable. You can still enjoy a cruise that you are used to! On board you step into a world of luxury, but with a nice informal atmosphere.
